Pictured at right is a Cut To Length line with our Coil Tamer
Pallet Decoiler. Our Coil Tamer was the chosen system of choice in this application but our motorized stock reels can also be selected as the system of choice.  It is strictly a matter of application and personal preference..   
The Mini Cut-To-Length Line (pictured right) comes equipped with a Model SF-2 Servo Roll Feed, a pneumatic scrap chopper, and a controller specifically programmed for a Cut-To-Length Line. 
Material is fed by two pinch rolls to a length specified by the user.  When the proper length of material is fed, a signal is sent from the controller to the chopper to cut the piece off.  The cycle is then repeated until the number of pieces programmed into the batch counter are produced.
Pressure on the pinch rolls is necessary to feed the material the proper length.  This pressure is administered via two mini air cylinders, each equipped with its own air regulator. 
The MSE Cut-To-Length Lines utilize standard MSE products to deliver the most versatile, efficient, user friendly Cut-To-Length Line in the market today.  Standard Features include:  Batch Counting, Single Stroke, First Piece Trim Cut,  and Continuous Operation.  Special Features such as Incremental Mode of operation are also available.

Spring Pressure on Rolls
Larger Cut To Length Lines utilize spring pressure on the feed rolls instead of air pressure.  There are two springs, one for each side of the roll and they are independently adjustable. 
The mounting stand as shown in the photo can also be supplied for the Mini Cut to Length Line.
